T-Shirts
Submitted by spoons on Fri, 12/28/2007 - 6:57pm.
I know where to find all of the controversial logo tees for kids and teens, but it can be a little more difficult to find smart, positive t-shirts.
Check out these t-shirts from B+

Granted, it is a small selection and the "McCain's My McMan" shirt made me raise an eyebrow, but it's a start.
Or get crafty and whip up a few t-shirts for your little one using
freezer paper stencils. Every liberal kid needs a "Kucinich Rocks" or a "Future Voter" handmade t-shirt to wear this spring.

Yarn Sale!
Submitted by spoons on Tue, 12/25/2007 - 8:00pm.
When you knit as liberally as we do, you are always on the look
out for a good deal on yarn. This week the place to find yarns on super
sale is one of our own local yarn stores, Webs.
Stop in the store to support the local economy or find your fiber online.
The event starts today and runs through January 5th.

Feeling Tree Guilt?
Submitted by spoons on Thu, 12/20/2007 - 12:00am.
Want an indoor Christmas tree but feeling guilty about about the environmental impact of cutting one down? Why not rent your next tinsel-holder?
If your holiday budget doesn't allow for the $55 + price tag, consider a crafty solution: knit a tree! use your colorful scraps from all of those gifts you've knit to make some mini ornaments to hang on your handmade tree and you'll be on your way to a yarny xmas.
